Karaikudi Days - MCA


Post Degree, my journey started with Master of Computer Applications(MCA) in Alagappa University, Karaikudi, TN, between 1995-1999. Along with MCA, joined CECRI's Modelling & Simulation department, as per the advice of Dr. John Berchman's, where I interacted with Scientists & Research scholers. Some of the moments(snaps) are placed here.

My Stay@Karaikudi: Joined MCA in 1994 end and the course started from Jan '95 onwards.. Thought of studying MCA by staying @ Karaikudi only. So, visited first time around 20 Jan '95 and met Sreekanth, Venu, Srini's(both) & GLReddy. Then 4th Feb '95 reached karaikudi with luggage and stayed in Dr. John Berchman's house @ #12, 8th Street, Subramanya Puram. Later Sreekanth K joined in the room.

At CECRI: worked with Dr. Basco Emmanual, and interacted with KLN Phani, Mohan Rao garu, Dr. Shankar, Suresh Kennadi, Venkat Rao, Balraj, Dr. Radhakrishna, Dr. John Berchman's, Prof. G. V. Subba Rao, 

In August '95, joined in CECRI as honorary trainee and worked for 6 months without salary :). In Mar '06, I became Project Assistent-II with Rs. 800/- as starting salary, working on Percolation theory, CPSEA++ projects. My association with CECRI continued till Mar 1999.  My MCA degree at Alagappa University received in Q2 '99, but left Karaikudi on 31 Mar 1999 , to B'lore. 
Later, Visited Karaikudi with Family in year 2008.

  • Tea Chaat's @ CECRI with Dr. Phani, Venkat Rao, Suresh, Radhakrishna etc.,
  • Evening dinners @ Anand Bhavan area with Dr. GL Reddy & Dr. John Bn
  • Coffee's with Dr. Sankar and evenings with Rajalingam ....so, on

My Education

This post provides the summary of my educational details with Links to each institution:  1977 - 82: 1st to 5th std .. . Studied at Village school only, School & (Tuition) teacher - Murali garu.Who was the teacher for all four of us (me & my brothers) 1982 - 86: 6th std to 9th std .. . Joined in High School at Rompicherla which is 5 kms away from native. Walk daily to reach school & then come back to village in the evening. Tutions taken only for 7th Std. at Krishna Reddy teacher (telugu pandit). Had wonderful get-together in 2012, after 25 years :) Bunking school , eating lunch & hiding them under sand, instead of carrying. Playing in (paddy) mission compounds on 'Varipottu' Visiting santha ..... 1986-87 - 10th std .. . Family decided to change the school - Bhakarapet where my mama - Mr. Garuda Reddy Yeturi located & working as teacher.
